Staff and postgraduate students conducted free surgical camp in at Kiirwa Mission Hospital, Meru County.
The staff included Dr. Edward Gakuya, Dr . Fred Sitati, and Dr. Ezekiel Oburu.
Prof. Josephat Mulimba from the Department of Orthopedic Surgery, School of Medicine led an orthopedic camp in Busia County Referral Hospital.
The camp was held in conjunction with Fort Wayne, Indiana, surgical team.
The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery carried out its first online exams for postgraduate students in the wake of coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
The 13 masters’ students defended their dissertations under the watchful eye of the external examiner, Professor Isaac Kajja who keenly followed the sessions from Makerere University in Kampala Uganda.
